We began at Pittsburgh East Church in 1989 serving 30-40 families a week. In 2003 we relocated to Rosedale United Methodist Church, now we have ex-panded to 170-240 families per week with over 700 families registered and growing. When we first started there were minimal food costs, but over the years food costs have greatly increased from the Greater Pgh Food Bank and have doubled since July 2012.

 

Every week a group of dedicated volunteers come together to make this happen. There are over 40 individuals who give of their time and energy to serve those in our community who are in need.
