“The Rosedale Food Pantry is a vital community resource that has been serving the Allegheny Valley for over two decades. This all-volunteer organization, powered by 40 dedicated individuals and additional volunteers from local companies, provides essential food assistance to more than 250 families each week. The pantry's reach extends across several communities, including Penn Hills, Plum, Oakmont, Blawnox, and Verona.
Operating with a commitment to accessibility, the Rosedale Food Pantry conducts weekly distributions every Wednesday and offers delivery services to area high-rise communities. The organization's impact is substantial, distributing over 1,000,000 pounds of food annually. This impressive feat is made possible through partnerships with local businesses and organizations, including Oakmont Bakery, Shop n Save, Aldi, Sam's Club, Panera, and 412 Food Rescue, who generously donate food items.
The pantry's operations are a testament to community collaboration, with volunteers regularly collecting donated items throughout the week. This ongoing effort ensures a steady supply of food for those in need, making the Rosedale Food Pantry an indispensable pillar of support in the Allegheny Valley region.”

Serving 1,500 families each month, we proudly support the residents of Penn Hills, Plum, Verona, Oakmont, and Blawnox. Through compassion, dignity, and service, we strive to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.”
